At the Touch Taiwan 2018 trade show, LED developer Lextar Electronics introduced its first micro-LED chips. The company unveiled two technologies - RGB chips and color conversaion chips - with both chips meeting the requirements of mass transfer processes.
Lextar micro-LEDs can be scaled down to 20 um - and feature a luminous efficiency of over 30%.
Lextar also introduced a series of mini-LED products including its next-generation UFP I-Mini RGB display module and a slim mini-LED backlighting unit.
