Visionox demonstrated its latest and largest microLED display to date - a 8K LTPS 270" tiled display. The company says that this is the world's first 8K TFT (LTPS) based microLED display.
The microLED display, produced by Visionox's ViStar, has a pixel pitch of 0.7 mm.
Only a few months ago, in August 2025, Visionox demonstrated a 135-inch LTPS microLED display, which was its largest microLED display on display, and now the company is following with a much larger display. Of course with tiled microLEDs, this is not a large challenge from the display perspective.
In 2018 Visionox demonstrated its first Micro-LED display, since then the company progressed in its R&D and production capabilities. In 2024, Visionox demonstrated a 88-inch 0.5 mm tiled display, made from 14.5-inch tiles.
In 2021, Visionox's Vistar announced that its full-process pilot microLED production line is now capable of producing displays, from driver backplane, through transfer process to full module production. The LED chips themselves are produced by a third party.
In September 2024, Vistar updated that it has started to move in new equipment to its Chenxian Optoelectronics production line, with an aim to increase production capacity.
