UBI Research says that full-scale commercialization of microLED TVs will begin in 2027, and then the market will grow at a fast 50% CAGR, from 2028 to 2030, when it will generate revenues of $1.3 billion USD.
UBI says that it sees production capacity growing from around 50,000 yearly TVs in 2023 to over 6 million units by 2030.
It is likely that UBI only considers self-emissive microLED TV displays, and not microLED-backlit LCDs like Samsung's new RGB MicroLED TV.
