UBI Research estimates that global microLED wearable display shipments will be around 300,000 units in 2025, and will grow to over 3 million units by 2030.
In terms of revenue, the market will expand from $160 million in 2025 to $1.2 billion by 2030.
Currently the only microLED wearable producer is AUO, that supplies its displays to Garmin and also soon to TAG Heuer. It seems rather optimistic for Garmin (and maybe also TAG Heuer) to ship 300,000 units in 2025, but maybe UBI expects other players to also release devices before the end of the year.
