Star Key Semiconductor Wuhan

The Star Key Semiconductor Wuhan company was established in 2022 in Wuhan, China, with an aim to become a global microLED display developer, focusing on AR microdisplays.

In 2025, the company inaugurated its first 8-inch GaN-on-Silicon microLED pilot production line, with an estimated yearly capacity of around 12,000 8-inch epiwafers. The company is currently looking to develop and mass produce monochrome microLED microdisplays. Its epiwafer supplier is Suzhou-based InnoScience.
