SmartSens Technology announced a strategic partnership with UNISOC to jointly advance high-speed microLED based optical interconnect technology.
SmartSens says that this new collaboration will focus on optical interconnect chip design and system-level solutions, targeting short-reach, high-speed connectivity for AI datacenters, and also for driving assistance systems and industrial visions solutions.
The new solution will utilize SmartSens' optical sensing and microLED array technologies, and also UNISOC's high-speed SerDes capabilities.
