MicroLED microdisplay developer Mojo Vision, a MicroLED Industry Association member, announced that it has closed an oversubscribed Series B Prime investment round, raising $75 million.
The round was led by Vanedge Capital, with significant investments made by current shareholders, including Edge Venture Capital, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Fusion Fund, Knollwood Capital, Dolby Family Ventures, and Khosla Ventures, and new shareholders, including imec.xpand, Keymaker, Ohio Innovation Fund, and Hyperlink Ventures.
Mojo Vision targets AR microdisplays and its microLED platform utilizes 300 mm GaN-on-Silicon epiwafers, a QD based color conversion architecture, and microlens arrays. Mojo Vision's CEO will deliver one of the keynote addresses at MicroLED-Connect 2025.
Mojo Vision developed the world's highest density displays and smallest microLED devices - up to 28,000 PPI using sub-micron LEDs. In 2024, Mojo Vision announced that it has developed a full-color microdisplay prototype. In September 2024, Mojo Vision teamed up with CY Vision to develop next-gen automotive HUDs based on microLED light engines.
In March 2025, NewSight Reality announced its next-generation transparent optical display module, the TOMM2, based on Mojo Vision's microLED chips. This is a see-through near eye display, that is meant to be used in front of the eye, placed located within the eyeglass lens within millimeters of the pupil of the user’s eye.
Mojo Vision started as a smart contact lens developer, that raised over $200 million to develop its technologies, including the microLED technologies its solution required. In 2023, the company laid of most of its employees, decelerated the contact lens development and focused almost entirely on its microLED microdisplay technologies. The company successfully pivoted to microdisplay technologies and raised over $100 million since.
