The MicroLED Industry Association, in collaboration with Techblick, concluded a highly successful microLED industry event last week. MicroLED-Connect 2025, which took place in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, brought together over 300 industry professionals, supply chain companies, researchers, investors and early stage developers.
During the event, which was co-located with ARVR-Connect 2025, over 40 speakers, including microLED professionals from Google, Mojo Vision, Aledia, ASML, JBD, Hongshi Intelligence, Trendforce, SCIL, Buhler Group, itec, QNA, Semilab, C-REAL, LAM Research, Smartkem, Trendforce and and others, discussed the latest innovations, roadmaps, challenges and applications of microLEDs, with a focus on the AR microdisplay segment.
The event also included 8 masterlcasses, industry tours in ASML and research centers, and many networking opportunities. A vibrant exhibition showcases various microLED production processes, prototype displays, the latest materials and innovations, and AR solutions. On the first day, the MicroLED Industry Association hosted its members for a special dinner.
All of the lectures and masterclasses were recorded, and our hybrid and virtual pass holders have access to all of the recordings from the event - in addition to many previously recorded virtual events we held before.
We are now starting to work on next year's event. MicroLED Connect 2026 will take place in the same excellent venue and will further help display professionals to understand the role of microLEDs in the future industry, again focusing on the AR and VR industries. The 2025 event grew by around 25% (in both attendees and exhibitors) and we hope to grow again in 2026 as more companies are targeting the microLED and AR/VR industries.
We look forward to seeing you next year, contact us now if you want to take part in this exciting event series.
