Lumileds, originally a joint-venture between Philips and Agilent, develops and produces LED lighting solutions mainly for the automotive industry and also architectural lighting.

Lulmileds is developing microLED technologies. In 2025, it was reported that China-based San’an Optoelectronics is set to acquire Lumileds, for $239 million in cash.
