InPHRED

US-based InPHRED was established in 2023, to commercialize photonics technologies originated from Yale University, mainly SWIR VCSELs lasers and microLEDs for communication applications.

InPHRED's main microLED technology is a Resonant Cavity Light-Emitting Diode (RC-LEDs) microLED technology built on a scalable nanoporous platform. In April 2026, the company announced it is targeting the optical I/O market with its micro-RC-LEDs.
