Hisense announced a new 163-inch MicroLED display, the 163MX RGBY MicroLED Display, that is the first to feature a four-primary (RGBY) microLED color architecture.
Hisense says that by adding a fourth, yellow subpixel to the traditional RGB structure, the 163MX display dramatically enhances the color fidelity compared to standard microLED displays.
The 163MX RGBY MicroLED Display uses advanced color management techniques that precisely balance luminance and chromatic uniformity across 33.17 million subpixels. The result is a display capable of achieving up to 100% of the BT.2020 color space.
In addition to its innovative color architecture, the 163MX display has a 32 mm profile which is slim for a large tiled microLED display (but is actually quite thick compared to flagship OLEDs, for example LG's latest 2026 W6 OLED TV is only 9 mm thick). The TV also features a a precision zero-gap wall mount.
In March 2025, Hisense launched its first microLED TV in China, a 136" 4K 10,000 nits TV, priced at 799,999 Yuan (around $110,000). Hisense is now offering this TV in the US, priced at $99,999 (with free delivery!).
