HannStar Display, based in Taiwan and established in 1998, produced small-sized and medium-sized TFT LCD displays, for applications such as mobile phones, tablets and notebooks. The company also produces monitors and other products under its own brand.
In November 2020 it was reported that HannStar Display launched an R&D project to develop microLED displays.
