AlphaBetter

AlphaBetter, officially known as Yibei Technology, was established in 2020 in China, with an aim to develop inspection equipment for the display industry.

The company's first product was the α-INSPEC M1000e microLED wafer-level PL inspection system, said to be the first MicroLED PL inspection system designed and produced in China. The company now offers several inspection systems, including automated optical inspection (AOI) for displacement measurement and patternless epitaxial wafer defect inspection.

In September 2025, the company finalized its Series A+ funding round, and said it sold its systems to all major microLED developers in China, and is now expanding globally.
